The roots of D/s Outreach began in 2009 when Sir Panda joined the Center for Sex Positive Culture (CSPC) in Seattle. Seeking community after years of navigating non-monogamy without a support network, he recognized how difficult it could be for newcomers to integrate into established circles.

To bridge this gap, Sir Panda created the Passport Program. Through his monthly meetings, and follow-ups by other volunteers, this initiative helped hundreds of new members gain confidence and foundational knowledge about kink and consent, as well as recieve personal introductions to the community.  

His leadership of the program helped shape Sir Panda's identity as a top and a Dominant, and his place in the wider community. Sir Panda describes this as: “I came for the poly, and stayed for the kink.”

• Discussion Groups: In 2015, Sir Panda and his submissive, MysticSavage, launched the paired discussion groups "View from the Top" and "The Right Side of the Slash" – dedicated spaces for Dominants and submissives to learn, share, and receive support in their journeys.
• Adaptability: When local venues closed in 2017, the discussion groups moved to meeting rooms, coffee shops, and eventually the Streamhouse in Woodinville, WA, evolving into D/s Pacific Northwest (DSPNW), an umbrella entity encompassing both discussion groups and Sir Panda’s other educational activities.
• Resilience: Sir Panda recruited additional facilitators for the discussion groups, and during the COVID-19 lockdowns, these vital conversations were transitioned to online meetings, ensuring the community remained connected despite the distance. Sir Panda later hosted View From the Top online in partnership with the CSPC from 2024-2025.
• Growth: In 2026, Sir Panda and MysticSavage relocated to the Kansas City metro area. With this move, DSPNW was reorganized as D/s Outreach to reflect our expanding national and international presence.

Sir Panda is a dedicated consent advocate and a member of the Social Psychology Network. His extensive background includes:

• Volunteering: Event organizer and host for Arborea Falls and the CSPC, and Communications Committee member under Allena Gabosch.
• Leadership: Former Program Director for KinkFest and BDSM lead for Fantasy Forest.
• Teaching: Presenter for the CSPC, Wicked Grounds, Pragmatically Kinking, the Venusian Society, and Leather Reign.
• Media: Featured guest on the Erotic Awakening and Interview My Kink podcasts and YouTube Channel.
• Philosophy: Sir Panda is committed to "giving back,” focusing on continuous self-improvement, empathy, and ethical behavior within the kink and polyamory communities.
